TERMS OF USE

1. ABOUT THIS TOOL
This software tool (“the Tool”) is operated exclusively by Peacock Bookkeeping Services LLC (“Peacock Bookkeeping Services,” “we,” “us”) for internal bookkeeping and accounting operations. It is not a consumer product and is not offered to the general public. Access is limited to authorized personnel of Peacock Bookkeeping Services LLC.
2. QUICKBOOKS ONLINE ACCESS
The Tool connects to QuickBooks Online (“QBO”) via the official Intuit API solely for the purpose of retrieving transaction data, performing bank reconciliations, and generating financial reports on behalf of clients who have explicitly authorized such access. All API connections are authenticated through Intuit’s standard OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. Peacock Bookkeeping Services will not access QBO data beyond the scope required to deliver bookkeeping services.
3. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
All data retrieved through this Tool is stored locally on secured systems controlled by Peacock Bookkeeping Services LLC. OAuth tokens and credentials are encrypted at rest. Reasonable technical safeguards are in place to prevent unauthorized access. No client data is transmitted to or stored on third-party cloud services beyond what is required by the QBO API itself.
4. NO THIRD-PARTY SHARING OR SALE
Client data accessed through this Tool is never sold, rented, licensed, or shared with any third party for any purpose. Data is used exclusively for providing bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting services to the client whose data is being accessed. Peacock Bookkeeping Services has no interest in monetizing client financial data.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This Tool is provided for internal operational use only. Peacock Bookkeeping Services LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Tool’s fitness for any particular purpose beyond its intended internal use. In no event shall Peacock Bookkeeping Services be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use this Tool.
